Deb taught P.E in secondary schools for 20 years before retraining and starting her own business as a personal trainer in 1999. She combined this with supply teaching and enjoyed working with the ‘wealthy’ from Sevenoaks for several years! She joined Meopham Secondary in 2003 providing cover for the P.E department when they were preparing their bid for their Sports College Status. She then joined the school on a contract and began working part time for the Partnership in 2006. Having thoroughly enjoyed the role of SSCo she has since left teaching to work full time for the Partnership.
Deb has played a variety of sports over the years and she now enjoys recreational Tennis and Badminton and Golf. She cycles regularly in good weather!!
Through her children she has become very involved in the Meapa Gymnastics club where she acts as their school liason officer and M.C for competitions.
Deb is SSCo for Gravesend Grammar School for Girls, Gravesend Boys Grammar, Whitehill, Holy Trinity, Chantry, St.Josephs, Kings Farm, Ifield, Rosherville.
