On 2nd February 2011 Shorne Woods country Park kindly hosted our annual INTER School cross country competition. After heats and competitions taking place in several schools in the build up, with thanks to the teachers in charge and my team at the SSP preparation was in place and the pupils were raring to go!
The course (orange route pictured below) was roughly 1km of mixed terrain and proved a good test for all the pupils but everyone rose to the challenge and completed the course.
The competition was structured so that every persons result from every school counted towards the overall trophy winners.
A massive thanks to Holy Trinity, Dover Road, Riverview Juniors, and Meopham primary for attending this event.
Congratulations to all the pupils who won their races (pictured below) and a special well done to Meopham Primary School who were the overall whole school winners having the lowest average overall finishing place.
A fantastic event enjoyed by staff pupils and spectators, a massive thanks to everyone involved.
